Disperse.
I've fought in the most crucial battle. Lost in the coldest war. Where do you call home? When people turn from you. Turn from you like the setting sun. Predictable.. Expected.. and yet so far from what you wanted. Maybe the mind is so misconstrued that there is no sense to make of it all. Just because we have a steady heartbeat keeping us alive doesn't necessarily mean that people actually remember it. Self-absorption makes up the basis of our beliefs. Every action coincides with a thought stating when will i be empowered? when will i benefit? The world spins around and around, years progress with the passing of every season.. people die. No one seems to look back. No one seems to fully appreciate the souls that once lived and laughed and loved. Sometimes it's good to forget. But other times it's the downfall of us. Crash and burn. Crash and burn. We continue the process.. blaming everything with our utmost capacity. Issuing that selfishness. Issuing our cruel longing for things we never will get. And ultimately never taking initiative and only burying ourselves within our cold exterior. We are the war. We are the battle that is never won.
