What if your happy with the choice you made and they can't accept that. They don't want to let you go, but they have to let you go sometime. And it's like, yeah, give it time. It'll fade, it'll subside. But i don't really think it will. What if you made a promise you knew you were going to break? It can't be taken back or regretted. That mistake was already made. Learn from it, yes. But what if things are already messed up. Can they be fixed? Will it ever go back to normal? Maybe not exactly the way it used to be, but something similar? Hopefully..
All of this can be explained as disappointment.
